Tacoronte sits above the north coast in the wine country, and the landscape here is green rather than volcanic: vineyards, laurel and old stone walls. It photographs like mainland Europe rather than a Canary beach.
The altitude brings cloud, and for a wedding that is usually welcome. Soft light across a whole afternoon means the ceremony, the portraits and the dinner all sit in the same gentle register instead of fighting harsh sun.
