Family Photo Session in Puerto de la Cruz

The north coast is cloudier than the south, and that is the reason to shoot here. Overcast light on dark volcanic sand is soft and even, so nobody squints and there are no harsh shadows across small faces.
Mornings before eleven and the two hours before sunset both work equally well. A session runs about an hour, which is roughly as long as a small child stays genuinely interested.
